Report #2
Dear brothers and sisters of Bentonville congregation! Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ from Dnipropetrovsk congregation and from me personally.
Two weeks of this year already passed. We’re very happy that the Lord brings new people to study His Word and we have the possibility to tell them about His love.
There were two ladies-visitors on Sunday worship January 7. We welcomed them and had a conversation with them. Also we have visitors from the congregation on Artema Str. After worship we had a short Christmas concert. Children made a puppet show. We also had a short contest on Bible knowledge. Then we had a tea party and fellowship.
With God’s help we had children camp from 2nd till 6th of January. There were up to eight children every day. Everything went fine. Children enjoyed the camp.
We conduct studies on Wednesdays and on Thursdays. I wish more brothers and sisters come for these studies. Lord will provide.
We helped sister Raisa to fix a water heater. Now she has got hot water in her house.
January 14 a Donetsk preacher Volodia Sinenko came to worship with us. He is from congregation of Petrovsky district of Donetsk. We studied together at “Sunset” Bible Institute of Donetsk. Brother Vladimir preached on the first hour on Sunday. We had three visitors that day. We had a chance to communicate with them after worship. They were not indifferent to Sunday sermons. I hope Lord works in their lives.
We composed a questionnaire on the matters of worship and study of God’s Word and suggested all members of the congregation to fill it in to know and understand the strivings and problems of members of our congregation.
We proceed with editing of the prayer sheet. We ask you to pray about our needs:
- about health of our old sisters;
- about spiritual growth;
- about greater extension of evangelism.
I’m very thankful to brothers of our congregation for their encouragement and assistance in worship service.
Thank you for your prayers and support. Let Lord blesses you and your families.
In Christ,
Brother Alexandr |
